We recognise that early action is the key to stop rent arrears becoming a debt that’s too big to repay.

While we send out arrears letters to tell you about your rent situation, it is important you let the team know of any change of circumstances that might affect your rent payments.

If you owe us money, we can set up an agreed rent repayment plan that you can afford.

If you keep a clear rent account and keep up with any repayment plan, you are entered into a tenant reward prize draw for a chance to win £100 so don’t miss out by not keeping your payments up to date.

The team has welfare support officers who helped 427 tenants obtain housing benefit last year and in some cases these were backdated to clear rent arrears.

We also offer nine ways to make rent payments and we will help you in every way we can but please be aware if you do not pay, we will take action for a breach of your tenancy agreement, which could lead to you losing your home.
