FREE guided bike rides are now available in the Middlesbrough area, thanks to the partnership between Middlesbrough Borough Council and British Cycling.
The Breeze network, www.breezebikerides.com, from British Cycling, is all about fun, local bike rides for women, by women – and there's a whole range of support, training and ride opportunities too.
The network is informal and relaxed and aims to bring cycling opportunities to women from all sections of society. Breeze bike rides are organised and supported by British Cycling and the network has been made possible by investment from the Active Women Campaign funded through the National Lottery and Sport England.
The new Breeze Champions in Middlesbrough have recently got their rides up and running at http://www.goskyride.com/Search/Details?eventid=2411 with free women only rides available most weekends.
They also offer Skyride local guided bike rides every Sunday until the end of September, which are FREE and open to everyone. Please see www.goskyride.com/middlesbrough for details of how to reserve a place on a guided ride.
