Middlesbrough Volunteering Star Awards will be held for the second time this year and will recognise and celebrate volunteering.

This year, the organising team has expanded to include Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency, Teesside University, Middlesbrough Council, Middlesbrough BME Network, Community Voice FM and West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust.

Volunteers make a tremendous difference to our community. They bring not only their time, but also their energy, skills, individual perspectives and talents, thereby enhancing our communities, our local services and people's lives.

The Volunteering Star Awards is an opportunity to thank some of the exceptional individual volunteers and local volunteer-involving organisations for the difference they make to the lives of others.

Anyone can make a nomination. Nomination forms, guidance notes and criteria for each category to help you to complete the nomination forms are available to download at www.mvda.info.
