Remuneration and Expenses

Erimus Housing and its partner boards recognise the vital role that board members play. Following careful consideration of a business case and independent advice the Boards of Fabrick Housing, Erimus Housing and Tees Valley Housing agreed to implement board member remuneration.

Board members receive one payment regardless of the number of Boards and Committees they serve upon. The level of payment depends upon the role within the boards/committees as follows:

In the event that a board member fails to attend Board/Committee meetings, the fee may be reduced or, in serious cases where a board member is seen to be not performing his/her duties properly, consideration will be given as to whether the board member should be removed from the Board.
