Grove Hill - What's Happening Now?

The first phase of regeneration in Grove Hill will be to tackle those areas of the estate where there are large numbers of empty properties.

These areas are highlighted red in the newsletters and are seen as a priority for clearance. You can find out which properties are included in the phase one demolition area along with information on how to access help and support from our officers by visiting the red area of this website.

The amber area, covering central Grove Hill also has a high level of long-term empty properties, but also contains a larger mix of owner occupied, private rented and landlord owned properties. As a result, this area required more extensive consultation to give residents in this area the opportunity to discuss possible regeneration options. Officers from the regeneration team have visited all residents in this area but to find out more information visit the amber area of this website.

The areas highlighted in green are seen by residents as desirable and popular so Erimus is undertaking a two year programme of investment, which started in 2007, to improve properties in this area internally and environmentally. You can find out more about the investment plan for Grove Hill by visiting the green area section of the website.

We do realise that demolition can cause a lot of concern for the residents affected, so if you are affected by these plans and would like further advice or information, please talk to a member of the Regeneration Team.
