Forging Ahead with Mobile Working

ERIMUS Housing's mobile workforce technology is being showcased across the world.

Nomad, a centre of excellence for mobile and flexible working, is using our hand held devices used by our operatives as an example of a successful flexible working solution.

The devices mean that operatives carrying out repairs can be sent the addresses of, and information on, their next jobs, without having to return to the depot.

The technology also means an improved service for residents and that information on completed jobs can be immediately sent back to the depot.

Nomad is a centre of excellence which aims to analyse, demonstrate and evaluate the potential benefits and savings that can be made by introducing mobile and flexible working technology.

It will showcase Erimus Housing's case study on its website, www.projectnomad.org.uk, from February.
