Having a say

RESIDENTS were given the chance to have their say at a consultation event held recently in Middlesbrough.

More than 80 Erimus Housing residents attended the special conference, held at Middlesbrough Teaching and Learning Centre on Cargo Fleet Lane.

Tenants were asked to have their say on what has gone well during the last year, as well as what they would like to see improved.

They were also asked to identify their five key priorities, which will be fed into our planning process to help us make improvements next year.

Priorities included parking provision, affordable housing including shared ownership, improved grounds maintenance and better access for high-rise blocks.

Other issues raised as priorities included more feedback on estate walkabouts, more information on the choice based lettings system, improvements to the outside of properties, the refurbishment of area offices and better enforcement of tenancy agreements.
