Our Board
Mike Carr - Chair
Mike Carr has lived in Middlesbrough all his life. He is a teacher and has been involved in local government for many years. He also has experience of other public bodies at local and national level. He is keen to ensure that Erimus Housing delivers real improvements to houses and the environment in Middlesbrough.

Edna Donnelly - Vice Chair
As well as being the Vice Chair of the Board, Edna is Chair of the Housing Management Committee and the board member diversity champion for Erimus Housing. Edna has been actively involved in community activities, including being a board member of West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust for a number of years.
Bob Brady
Bob was a councillor for more than 30 years and has a special interest in housing. For 30 years, Bob was Senior Youth and Community Officer for Cleveland County Council. Married with three grown-up children, Bob is a keen gardener with his own allotment and also enjoys walking in the Yorkshire Dales and Moors.
Blaise Mempouo
Blaise, Chairperson of African Solidarity Integration in the North East, is studying for a Master in Science degree in renewable energy at the University of Teesside and has expertise of environmental issues, as well as being a member of the BME community in Middlesbrough.

Brian Kelly
Brian is a retired housing professional, being a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Brian is married with four sons and includes watercolour painting and supporting Newcastle United FC as hobbies. Brian is also a school governor. He is particularly interested in the provision of new homes.

Ann Lymer
Ann is a trained counsellor and has participated in resident and community involvement activities for many years, campaigning to get the best deal for tenants. Ann is the board champion for customer services.
Peter Porley
Peter has lived in Park End for more than 50 years and has recently taken over as a council representative board member. Peter has a wide range of knowledge ranging from the young to the elderly, as he is a school governor and vice chair of the Older Persons Partnership.

Josephine Pottinger
Jose, a HR Director and independent human resources advisor, is also a visiting lecturer at Newcastle University. Jose has specialist mentoring and coaching skills, as well as being a successful trainer and brings her knowledge of diversity leadership and effective cross cultural work to the Board.

Sarah Robson
Sarah has spent ten years working in a variety of regeneration roles and currently works for Tees Valley Regeneration. She believes that individuals and organisations can work together to deliver long-term improvements and wants to ensure every resident lives in a decent home as part of a thriving community.

Jenny Shepherd
Jenny has a long history in the field of health and social care, particularly with people with disabilities. Jenny now chairs the Public and Patient Forum for South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust and is working part time on a special project for the Tees Valley Rural Community Council. Jenny has a special interest in helping people stay living at home for as long as possible.

Paul Thompson
Paul is a Middlesbrough councillor and is currently the local authority's Executive Member for Education and Skills. He is interested in the regeneration of Middlesbrough and the part Erimus Housing can play in developing quality housing to help bring the town forward.

Nicky Walker
Nicky is a ward councillor with personal experience of being an Erimus Housing tenant and brings her experience of being in daily contact with residents to the Board. Nicky is interested in how different types of housing have an impact on people's lives.
