Witham House - Eaglescliffe

Erimus Housing took over ownership of six sheltered housing schemes from Stockton Council in July 2007 following a positive ballot result from tenants.

Witham House in Eaglescliffe is one of the six schemes and one of three that were found to be outdated and in poor condition. We are proposing to replace the existing building with new, high quality older people's apartments, including apartments for rent and sale, with a communal lounge for use by the residents.

Optimus Homes, a fully owned subsidiary of Erimus Housing, will be delivering this scheme on behalf of Erimus Housing. We are currently developing proposals for this exciting new development and anticipate holding a community consultation event early in 2009. This event will be held locally and will give members of the local community the opportunity to view the proposals, and give us their views.   The views of local people are very important to us and will be considered when finalising our designs.
