Erimus Housing has built a new development in Newport on the former sites of three blocks of maisonettes; Mallory Close, Gower Close and Milton Court.
These blocks were demolished following a specialist study of these unpopular, problematic flats. The new development includes two apartment blocks, as well as two and three bedroom family houses and bungalows for rent, shared ownership and sale.

The apartment blocks, which are due to be completed at the end of 2009, are landmark buildings on one of the main approach roads into the town centre. Each apartment has a combined kitchen/lounge area and two bedrooms, with an ensuite to the master bedroom.
