As a landlord, we are legally obliged to service our residents' heating systems every year. The service will ensure your appliances are working correctly and you will be given a gas safety certificate confirming the condition of your gas system.
Under your tenancy agreement, you have a responsibility to allow us access to carry out a service and gas safety check, which we should be able to complete within an hour.
Before the next service date we will write to you to offer you an appointment but please don’t hesitate to contact us if the time is not convenient for you.
If we call and you are not in, we will leave a card with details of when we will visit again. Again, if this is not convenient, please contact us to rearrange the time.
The work will be carried out by our own gas engineers who are committed to providing a clean and efficient service.
During the annual servicing, we will service any gas heating appliance that you have installed and will visually inspect gas cooker appliances.
We are currently working on a ten month servicing cycle in order to comply with the mandatory 12 month servicing period.
Please note that failing to allow access to carry out this service could lead to legal proceedings.
